Biometric Data Retention Schedule

Chekket Inc. — FastpitchAI

Published: May 14, 2026

Last Reviewed: May 14, 2026

This schedule is published in compliance with the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), 740 ILCS 14/1 et seq., and similar state biometric privacy laws. It describes the types of biometric and biomechanical data FastpitchAI collects, how long we retain it, and how it is permanently destroyed.

What This Schedule Covers

FastpitchAI's computer vision system analyzes pitching videos to extract biomechanical data — measurements of body positions, joint angles, and movement patterns derived from video frames. Under Illinois law and similar state laws, this type of movement data derived from body geometry may constitute biometric identifiers or biometric information.

This schedule applies to all such biomechanical and biometric data collected through the FastpitchAI app.

Data Types and Retention Periods

Data TypeDescriptionRetention PeriodDeletion Trigger

Absolute Prohibition on Sale of Biometric Data

Chekket Inc. will not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from any user's biometric or biomechanical data. This prohibition is absolute and applies regardless of any other agreement or business arrangement.

Retention Rules

  • Maximum retention. No biomechanical data linked to an individual's identity will be retained for more than the periods listed above. FastpitchAI will not retain biometric data beyond the point at which the initial purpose of collection has been satisfied, unless the user has consented to extended retention for AI training purposes (subject to the 3-year maximum).
  • Deletion requests. Any user may submit a written request for deletion of their biomechanical data at any time — even before the standard retention period has ended — by emailing info@chekket.com. Verified requests will be processed within 45 days.
  • Account closure. When a user closes their account, the deletion timelines above begin automatically. No additional request is required.
  • AI training data. When a user withdraws AI training consent or closes their account, their identifiable data is excluded from all future training activity within 90 days. Data already incorporated into a trained model's mathematical weights may not be technically extractable from that specific model, but the user's identity and raw data will not be used in any future training run.

Destruction Method

Biometric and biomechanical data is destroyed via secure deletion protocols that render the data permanently unrecoverable. Backup copies are destroyed on the same schedule as live data (within 90 days of the deletion trigger for backups).
